Wellness + You

We want the stellar people at Fractured Atlas to stay happy, healthy, and engaged. Moving forward at a blazingly fast clip in a constantly changing environment can be stressful and anxiety inducing even in the best of times. When we forget about, or neglect, our physical and mental well-being it can have devastating consequences. Creating an environment that values health and well-being jump-starts productivity, reduces the number of days we’re out sick, and helps create a positive work environment. The main reason we value wellness? Because we want you to be happy.

One of the biggest ways to help maintain staff wellness is by offering flexibility in where, when and how we do our work. (See also: Days Off Policy, Flexibility In How You Work, and Work Week.) From time to time staff initiate wellness reminders — Mindfulness breaks, Water Wednesday, Group Walks, Healthy Snacks, and Four Square! At the end of the day, wellness is unique to the individual. We aim to offer each person the ingredients they need for a happy, healthy, and humane work environment, and it's up to each of us to mix the ingredients into a recipe that works for our specific tastes.
