Work Hard. Live Well.
We all wear multiple hats in life: staff member, spouse, parent, artist, binge watcher. We get it and want you to have a balanced, fulfilling life. Work shouldn't take over your entire life, even if you love what you do.
Nearly everyone who works at Fractured Atlas was, or still is, a practicing artist. Half of our current employees are still actively practicing their creative craft. Oodles are parents. About a quarter of our staff work remotely on a full-time basis in ten different states. Roughly 75% of the staff enjoy peanut butter-filled pretzels. All of our staff bring their "A" game to their work. These are some of the things that make Fractured Atlas a special place to work. Fractured Atlas staff don't phone it in. They walk through the door each day and give it 100% while working to make our company, our programs and services, and the cultural sector a better place.
As committed we are to our work, we also recognize the importance of boundaries and making sure that work doesn't take over your life. The same way we apply that 100% to our work, we also apply it to unwinding. Unwinding takes different forms depending on who you are. Many of us enjoy socializing with coworkers. Many of us have family and outside friends we meet up with after hours. At least one of us has a standing date with his bicycle and his thoughts. We want to respect and value the whole person, supporting each other to make time for the things that make life enjoyable and enriching.
